The Jaded Hearts Club are back with a live recording from their first London show, Live At The 100 Club, an album which highlights the audience interaction from the event and gives listeners that reminiscent feeling of live shows that everyone misses so badly.

Following on from their critically acclaimed debut album, The Jaded Hearts Club are back with a live recording from their first London show, Live At The 100 Club. The band composed of artists from multiple different bands come together on this project, and create music for fans of all to enjoy. In a time when we cannot attend shows, it’s incredible for things like this to happen, with multiple bands releasing live albums this year to make up for them not being able to tour. Albums such as these that highlight the audience interaction from the event help to give listeners that reminiscent feeling of live shows that everyone misses so badly.

The live album opens with audience cheering and the band starting the intro to ‘Gloria’, which is a cover from Patti Smith. The band did a very good job choosing this as an opener, as the buildup helps to get the audience (and future listeners) hyped for the rest of the setlist.

The majority of songs within this album are covered with dates ranging from 1950-1980, which is a period where most of these artists' main bands are influenced by. It’s truly wonderful to see them come together and put a whole new spin on the songs they likely grew up with.

Continuing with the energetic performance, the band plays ‘Back in the USSR’ by The Beatles. It’s easy to hear the hype within the band and their chemistry together. Their sounds blend perfectly within this project and bring a new sound to an already much loved classic form one of the biggest bands of all time.

Much to the audience’s approval, the band begins to play ‘Paint It Black’ by The Rolling Stones. The guitars and bass work perfectly together before the drums come in, and the vocals accompany the instrumentals very well. The band does the classic sound very well while putting their own spin to it, which the audience seems to love.

The band closes with ‘Helter Skelter’ by The Beatles, and did a wonderful job choosing this as a closer. This track keeps the same energy, while providing more of a natural ending than some of the previous tracks. The music is still exciting, while providing a smooth ending.

Overall, this live album is great from start to finish. The track list is absolutely phenomenal, and having this as a setlist is a wonderful idea to keep listeners hyped until the end, providing a more natural ending to the show, and the live album. Listeners of the members individual bands will definitely see the influences that each band has on this album, and will fall in love with it, as well as their other albums.
