Hello! We are Pressure, a story metal band from Sweden! We combine the true force and experience of a great story with the unstoppable power of heavy metal. No one is safe from us!
WHAT’S YOUR ORIGIN STORY?
We have been around for like 5 years now. We started out as a cover band, touring all over Sweden before we started writing our own music. To be honest we got a little tired of playing other peoples music and we really got our mojo back when we started to write our own songs. All our songs are very close connected to our lives so we really have a strong connection to the songs.

A true heavy metal act with energy that performs true life stories right from our heart to your soul.
WHAT’S THE INSPIRATION BEHIND YOUR LATEST SINGLE?
Our latest single ‘Sacramental Anger’ is a story about love. We all want to be loved, but it would be much easier if we could add a little magic to achieve this. ‘Sacramental Anger’ is about all-consuming love, but different love: unstoppable, inescapable, ruthless, frightening.
When our desires intoxicate the mind and we go ahead ignoring all obstacles. This song tells a story of a solitary witch who can bend anyone to her will. Slowly but surely, she lures into the depths of a mystical forest, enchants with a gentle lullaby. And there will be no chance to wake up from this hypnosis. Will you be able to resist her spell?
What issues are important to you? Do you use your music and platform to communicate these?
We stand for peace, equality and human rights. We want everyone to be seen and we use our music to help people understand that they are never alone. We want to help our listeners to handle the Pressure that we all live under. Pressure is something that we all experience in different ways. Pressure is here to help you carry your burden.

What’s one song you wish you could have written?
Right now? ‘The Show Must Go On’ by Queen. I love it.
If you could tour with anyone, who would it be?
I would like to tour with Metallica or Iron Maiden. We could do really cool shows together.
What should your fans be expecting from your band in the near future?
We are releasing a lot of new material. Look out for our new single. ‘All The Things’, that will have you dancing in no time.
