ONES TO WATCH: LIVE AT LEEDS IN THE PARK 2023

THE COCKPIT main stage

LOTTERY WINNERS: 1:55PM

It’s been an amazing month for Manchester’s indie-pop sensation Lottery Winners. From releasing their fifth studio-album in April and to then have it reach Number 1 Album in the official charts is no small feat! So we’ll be looking to party with them in celebration in the summer sun! The band will be sure to put us in a ‘Headlock’ with their powerful performance!

black honey: 2:50PM

Brighton rockers Black Honey also find themselves on the mainstage, not long after the release of their third studio-album ‘A Fistful of Peaches’. The band have been building up a buzz for quite some time, and their recent album which leans into the grunge nature has furthered that excitement. Explosive tracks such as ‘I Like The Way You Die’ will be sure to stop people in their tracks.

DMA’S: 7:35pm

Not long after the release of their fourth studio-album and their recent UK and Ireland tour, the Australian three-piece DMA’s find themselves with a well-deserved spot on the main stage. With a new album in their hands, they’ll be sure to showcase the best of their material both new and old in an energetic set that will get everyone dancing.

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB: 9:20pm

Hailing from Northern Ireland and taking over the main headline spot on the main-stage is Two Door Cinema Club. The band are currently one of the most well-known bands in today’s indie scene and will be sure to put on an energetic display of classic indie-rock anthems. Tracks such as ‘What You Know’ and ‘Undercover Martyn’ will be sure to go down a treat with the Leeds crowd.

ROLLING STONE - BIG TOP STAGE

LIME CORDIALE: 2:10pm

Australian pop-rock group Lime Cordiale will be bringing their fun and energetic presence to the Big Top Stage. They might only have two albums to their name, but those two albums have been full of hits that all deserve a spot on the setlist. Tracks like ‘Robbery’ and ‘Temper Temper’ will be sure to go down a hit, and I’ll be sure to be in the center dancing around.

everything everything: 5:30pm

Manchester alt-rock band Everything Everything will be hitting the stage with their eclectic and dynamic discography. Fans of Fifa will recognise the band for their hit track ‘Distant Past’, but with six albums to their name, they have more than enough danceable anthems to get everyone sweaty.

the hives: 8:15pm

When it comes to bands with a big presence, they don’t get much bigger than The Hives. The Swedish rock band are well known for their garage rock sound which has held them high since their rise in the early 2000’s. They’ll be headlining the Big Top Stage and if their name doesn’t ring a bell, then their tracks ‘Hate To Say I Told You So’ and ‘Tick Tick Boom’ will make you remember.

DIY STAGE

ELLUR: 12:40pm

Born in Halifax, only a short drive away from the city of Leeds is alt/indie artist Ellur, another artist that I have been fortunate to catch in the past and is most definitely one you wont want to miss. Whether they’re performing solo with keyboard and guitar, or accompanied with a live band.. Ellur knows exactly how to captivate a crowd. Track ‘Movements’ is a personal favorite, and one I’m hoping to catch live again.

JAMES MARRIOTT: 2:20pm

If the name James Marriott rings a bell and you’re unaware of his musical prowess, then that’s most likely because he gained popularity as a YouTuber before introducing his fanbase to his musical ability. After catching James Marriott during his supporting slot on the Lovejoy tour in Manchester, I can tell you that he has exceptional talent, stage presence and an adoring fanbase.. So get there early because that tent is going to fill up FAST.

crawlers: 7:10pm

After making an incredible impression on the city of Leeds at last years’ Live at Leeds: In The City, the band are back again: in the Park for more energetic alternative rock. Their passionate and devout fanbase will be sure to pack out the DIY Stage tent whilst screaming along to their most beloved songs ‘Come Over (again)’, ‘Fuck Me (I Didn’t Know To Say)’ and ‘So Tired’.

DORK PRESENTS

MODERNLOVE.: 3:30pm

Exciting Irish indie-pop band Modernlove. will be taking on the DORK stage with their fun and upbeat tracks that have been drawing in a large and passionate fanbase for the boys. Fast paced danceable songs are the best way to open up the festival, and this band has them in abundance. They’ll be sure to pick up a lot of new fans from their spot at the festival without a doubt.

DEADLETTER: 4:05pm

London’s own Deadletter have been on a steep incline with their alt-rock-indie style and have had excited eyes pinned onto them to see where they go. The band started releasing music before covid, and released their first EP ‘Heat!’ in 2022. ‘Binge’ and ‘The Snitching Hour’ have catchy instrumentals and lyrics that will have the crowd dancing and singing along to, I’m sure of it!

BROOKE COMBE: 8:45pm

Headlining the DORK stage is Scottish multi-instrumentalist Brooke Combe. The singer has been gaining lots of attention over the past year with her debut album ‘Black Is The New Gold’ releasing just a few weeks ago, and tracks already hitting hundreds of thousands of online plays. The sky's the limit for Brooke as she sets to take-over Leeds.
